We warmly welcome you to 'Effe-Zoutelande'!

These are our house rules:

Arrival and departure

Check-in: between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM; if this is not possible, please contact ‘Effe-Zoutelande' at +31 (0)6 28 32 32 64.

- Check-out: no later than 10:00 a.m.

You have free Wi-Fi access:

Key

Upon arrival, you will be provided with a key that grants access to the rented part of the house.

In the event of loss or failure to return the keys of ‘Effe-Zoutelande’, a charge of € 50,- will be billed to the main guest.

Peace

To make your stay and that of our other guests as pleasant as possible, we kindly request you to keep the noise down between 10.30 p.m. and 8 a.m.

It is not allowed to stay in a room with more than two people or to receive visitors.

Not present in your room?

If you are not present in your room, please close the skylights. This is to prevent damage to or loss of your and our property due to sudden weather changes and burglary. Also, please turn the heating down low or off.

For fire safety reasons, no devices such as phones, laptops, etc. may be charged during your absence (you can charge your bike battery in the bike shed in the garden).

Breakfast

If you have chosen the breakfast option, we serve it between 8.30 and 9.30 a.m. (other times by arrangement) in your room or, if the weather is nice, outside on the terrace. No other meals are served.

If you do not make use of our breakfast, you can also enjoy your homemade breakfast in the garden.

Energy and water

Think about the environment. Be frugal with energy and water.

Smoking and open fire

To limit the risk of fire, smoking is not allowed indoors (not even in the hall by the front door). You can smoke in the garden or on the terrace, where ashtrays are provided. Open flames, such as burning candles, are also not permitted indoors.

Terrace

You can make use of the terrace with garden furniture on the left side of the house.

Stalling and charging (electric) bicycles

(Electric) bicycles can be parked and charged at your own risk under the canopy near the shed, bottom left in the garden. Charging bicycle batteries in the room is not allowed due to fire hazard.

Coffee and tea

You can make free use of the coffee, tea, sugar and coffee cream in the room.

Dirty dishes

Dirty dishes can be placed in the plastic box provided for your room. You can place this box in the designated cabinet by 11:00 AM daily. By 4:00 PM, you will find your clean dishes back in this cabinet.

Towels

Tea towels, kitchen towels and hand towels are available. You can place used towels in the black laundry basket in your bathroom and they will be replaced with clean linen.

Sanitary napkins

By the toilet, you will find opaque bags to discreetly dispose of your sanitary products in the bin (so please do not flush them down the toilet!).

Cleaning/changing linens

Your room is checked and cleaned daily where necessary. For stays of a week or longer, the linen will be changed midway through your stay.

The final cleaning is taken care of for you and is included in the agreed room rate.

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Car/motor parking

You can park your car or motorcycle at your own risk in the designated parking spaces on the 'Effe-Zoutelande' site. You can also park in front of the green garage door.

Damages

Did something break or get damaged by accident? Always let us know. That way, we can prevent discovering that we needed to repair or replenish something only when the next guests arrive.

Guestbook

In our guestbook, you can read the nice messages from previous guests. We would love it if you also left a message.
